Blue Mosque Istanbul

A little bit of a break from the normal black and white photographs I would normally post. This shot was taken in Istanbul in 2004. The blue mosque is interesting in that it has 6 minarets as opposed to most mosques having 4.

Taken in Istanbul in 2004. The Blue Mosque is unique amongst mosques as it boasts 6 minarets instead of the usual 4. It gets its name from the distinctive blue tiles that adorn its roof.
