In Tuscany, this shot was taken looking out at the Appenines one night in 2007. I like the jagged outline the mountain range cut into the black night’s sky.

This picture was shot in Lucca, Tuscany . I spent a wondeful afternoon walking around this walled city. Lucca is around a 1 hour drive from Pisa and not far from Florence and is well worth a visit. In the centre of the city is a tower which affords wonderful views of the town

Found this bar not far from St Mark’s square in Venice. Apparently, Ernest Hemmingway used to drink in here back in the day. Then again, he liked to drink everywhere by all accounts.

The centre of Verona is the Piazza delle Erbe. This is it. It is an old market town type square. In the middle are a few stalls and above the square looms a clock.
