This image was taken in  Marrakesh, Morocco.  The picture shows a beggar on the streets of the old city. Recently, not far from where this shot was taken (Djemma El Fna), a bomb exploded killing many people.

La Koutoubia – Black and White

La Koutoubia is clearly visible when walking around the old parts of the city. It is the largest mosque in the city and dates from the 12th Century. It was used as the model for the Giralda of Seville and for the Hassan Tower of Rabat.
