This hotel is probably one of the most famous in the world. Named after Sir Stanford Raffles, I spent a wonderful afternoon in the cocktail bar. This bar is unique in so far as the floor is strewn with customers’ discarded monkey nut shells.

Took this shot in the Summer of 2006. The Merlion has been moved to entrance of the Singapore River. The building in the background is the Fullerton Hotel if I recall correctly.
