The Brooklyn bridge is one of New York’s most famous landmarks linking Manhattan island with Brooklyn. I sat for about 2 hours waiting for the sun to disappear behind Manhattan’s striking skyline. This was the result. Ultimately worth the wait.

Chrysler Building, New York
This Art Deco building was for a brief time, the tallest building in the city until the Empire State building took the title. I love this Art Deco design. My favourite skyscraper on the Manhattan skyline.
Raffles Hotel, Singapore, 2006
This hotel is probably one of the most famous in the world. Named after Sir Stanford Raffles, I spent a wonderful afternoon in the cocktail bar. This bar is unique in so far as the floor is strewn with customers’ discarded monkey nut shells.
