Probably on of the most attractive buildings in New York, the Flat Iron Building certainly lives up to its name. This famous structure was photographed in 2009.

  1. I love this building. The phrase “23-skiddoo” originated here. I own a wonderful 1910s piece of sheet music (the Tin Pan Alley era) that shows a wild jazz trombonist chopping the building in two, karate-style, using the extendable part of his instrument.

This iconic building is an essential part of New York architecture.
